“渺渺负霜鹤，皎皎帯云飞”；“白鹭下秋水，孤飞如坠霜”。古诗中常有鹤与鹭的身影，而且多半是在秋水长天，霜重色浓的意境下。

鹤鹳鹭鹬是典型的湿地涉禽。它们足长方便涉水。颈长嘴长方便取食。向海湿地的浅水泡泽，有连疆越界的蒲草苇荡，可以驿站停歇，可以躲避天敌，可以筑巢繁衍，可以觅食给养。

向海的涉禽种类繁多，鹤鸟举止高蹈，步态优雅。鹳鸟仪态万方，雍容华贵。鹭鸟迂阔执着，守望宁静。鹬鸟轻盈窈窕，娇小妩媚。鸻鸟机敏灵巧，凌波若仙。

它们寒来暑往，伊水而居，只为了代代相传，生生不息。

 Wading birds live by water, coming here in Spring and going south in Autumn They have lived for generations and multiplied on this beautiful marshland．
